About Me

I am an educational psychologist and cognitive scientist as well as a lecturer in Psychological Science at UTRGV. I have held teaching and research positions at the University of Colorado, Florida State University, and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research.

    My research has been published in scholarly journals that run the gamut of social science from psychology to education to computer science. My scholarly interests include cognitive development, learning and memory, human-computer interaction, and social science research methods. I earned bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas and doctorates in Educational Psychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Colorado.
